Inspiration+Co. Interior Designers provide comprehensive interior design and interior decoration services throughout the Greater Wellington region.

Our client base stretches from Seatoun to Khandallah within Wellington City, as well as across Wellington Harbour to Eastbourne, and north to Porirua, the Kapiti Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.

Boasting a team of experienced and passionate interior design consultants, Inspiration+Co. maintain a firm commitment to working toward our client’s needs and tastes, rather than imposing our own preferences or becoming ‘too involved’ in shaping a project, or over-stepping our boundaries. Whilst our interior stylists love working with clients who wish to use rich textured wallpapers and vibrant colours, we are equally comfortable putting together a contemporary modern neutral scheme. We work with you to fully understand your unique style and what it is that excites and inspires you, providing a professional interior design service that allows you to realise your vision for the ideal interior to your home.

At Inspiration+Co. there’s no such thing as a ‘typical assignment’; client projects vary from architecturally designed new builds through to renovations of turn of the century villas. The focus of our interior design team is on meeting the individual tastes of each client within their designated budget, which means we don’t have one particular ‘look’ that we’re attached to. In fact, we thrive on the challenge of providing bespoke interior design to cater to each of our client’s needs. Renovation in Thorndon

A fabulous project we recently undertook in Thorndon, Wellington: this magnificent 19^th century home was fully refurbished, with our client keen to embrace a blend of the traditional and the contemporary.

The dining area was decorated in traditional style, with chandelier and moody textured wallpapers on both the walls and ceiling to complement the owner’s antique furniture, whilst the adjacent kitchen was given a contemporary makeover complete with high gloss cabinetry, metallic splashback tiles and industrial pendant lighting.

"Our 1910 home was suffering as a consequences of a previous owners 1980s make over. The thought of planning and managing the logistics of a design improvement seemed overwhelming until we engaged Heather and the team at Inspiration+Co. From our initial meeting we were walked effortlessly through the production of initial design concept plans; the introduction and appointment of a suitable trades team; through to the establishment of a workable delivery plan that would meet with our desired timeframes and budget. While we had very definitive ideas regarding our desired aesthetic and we knew specifically what we didn’t like, decisions regarding product choice would have been much more difficult without the help of Inspiration+Co. Heather listened to our requirements and paired back product selections for us that aligned with our design vision, simplifying every part of the decision making process. We didn’t need to trawl products on line or in shops or warehouses as she brought all samples to us in our home to review / touch in person - it was almost really too easy! We have blown away by the end result: contemporary yet a beautiful blend with the character features of our home. We're about to embark on the second phase of renovations and will be utilising the talents of the Inspiration+Co. team once again. We're excited to get this transformation underway and can’t wait for the final results, as we know we are on to a sure winner with Heather and the team."

For a new home design in Aotea, we delivered a contemporary design encompassing a black and white exterior, rear external paving in a sheltered entertainment area with a feature skylight, and stunning black window joinery.
